Festive Christmas Carol Story by Charles Dickens

A Christmas Carol Story by Charles Dickens

Over the festive season, I always love to re-read one of my favorite books which is A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. This is not a very long story at around 30,000 words and is more of a novella by modern standards. So, if you haven't already enjoyed this wonderfully classic tale written back in 1843, it's a pretty short read to look forward to.

On this page, you will find a personal review of A Christmas Carol story by Charles Dickens along with a brief summary.

I have a number of different ways to enjoy this story; I might choose to read it on my Kindle, delight in my keepsake hardcover edition or enjoy the really excellent and highly recommended audiobook version narrated by Tom Baker who was one of the Doctor's in the Dr. Who series. The audiobook is a particularly lovely version to enjoy, especially on Christmas Eve with a glass of mulled wine or some other festive beverage and will give you a very pleasant 3 hours of listening. My copy came from Audible and I love it.

There are so many ways to enjoy this classic tale from the free Kindle versions, hardcover keepsake books, audiobooks, plays and movie adaptations. It's a tale that never gets old or boring during the run up to the Holiday season. It's the perfect listen on the eve of this festive Holiday.

Great for a Re-Read on the Eve of Christmas or a Listen on Audiobook while you Craft!
